Pakistan People’s Party and Muslim League-N have formally contacted for government formation; in the meeting held between the two parties at Bilawal House Lahore, a moral consensus was found on political cooperation between Pakistan Muslim League-N and the People’s Party. According to the details, President PPP Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met with former Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif at Bilawal House. The leaders of both parties agreed to cooperate politically to steer the country away from political instability and vowed to save the country from political instability.
The joint statement states that both parties consulted on the post-election situation in the meeting and discussed the proposals. On this occasion, the PP leadership said that the proposals of the Muslim League-N should be presented in the meeting of the Central Executive Committee. Most people have given us the mandate; we will not disappoint the people. It has been learned that the PML-N delegation that reached Bilawal House to meet the leadership of the Pakistan People’s Party included Azam Nazir Tarr, Ayaz Sadiq, Ahsan Iqbal, Rana Tanveer, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Malik Ahmad Khan, Maryam Aurangzeb, and Shaza Fatima.
